Beverly

KimBeverly Lumbres Caimen, born on June 20, 1994 Also called Beverly, is a Filipino pop singer based in Japan under the Avex Trax. Her most well-known works include appearances on soundtracks, like "Be the One" in Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" in Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen was born in Calamba, Laguna on June 20, 1994. She is the third child of Ramon Vega Caimen (and Leticia Valdezlumbres). She also had a brother, and two sisters. Beverly began singing at the age five, when her mom took Beverly to school. She realized she had talent and she was able to sing. When she was seven years older, she was a member of the school choir and started voice lessons at age nine. Her mother also urged her to join in the choir. Around this time she entered her first singing contest, however, she was not able to win. Her mother was supportive of her and encouraged her to continue because she believed she needed more knowledge. She graduated from Batangas State University with a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing at amateur contests in pursuit of her goals. She came first in the World Championships of Performing Arts and recorded her songs with GMA Records and worked with composer Vehnee Saturno; during this time, she released her first and only album for GMA, Beverly Caimen. Beverly received an award for Best Performance from Awit Awards and won the Harvest of Honors award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts as well as the Best Performance Award from the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year 3.
